Flower Pattern:
Using worsted yarn in any colour, begin with a magic circle OR CH 3 and SS into the beginning CH to form a circle.
Round 1 (working all stitches into the circle):
*CH 2, place 3 DC into the circle. CH 2 and SS into the circle.* Repeat from * to * 4 more times for a total of 5 petals when finished. After placing the last SS, fasten off (leave long tails for sewing onto projects if desired).
(10 CH 2, 5 SS, 15 DC DC stitches)

Leaf Pattern:
Using worsted yarn in green, CH 5.
Row 1:
Into the 2nd CH from your hook, make 1 SC. Into the next stitch, place 1 HDC followed by 1 DC. Into the last stitch, make 5 DC.
This next section is worked into the other side of the CH (see photo A)

Place 1 DC into the first stitch of this side. Make 1 HDC into the next stitch and 1 SC into the following stitch. CH 1 and SS into the first stitch you made on the other side. Fasten off and weave in all ends. Attach to the back of your flower as an accent.
