One Stitch Crochet Neck Warmer

0Shares

Do you have one skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick sitting on your shelf? I have a very quick and very easy neck warmer pattern just for you! It’s a simple one stitch row repeat throughout (after the beginning chain of course) and because you’re working with a super bulky yarn, it’s a really great project if you need a gift or a cozy wearable at the last minute.

Using the extended single crochet stitch, this neck warmer will help to keep the chill away while also maintaining a lovely drape and stretch.

Notes:
– This pattern is written in US terms (find a stitch conversion chart here)
– Gauge is not important for this pattern
– Turning CH 1 does not count as a stitch throughout
– Finished neck warmer measures approximately 10 inches x 8 inches after seaming
– If you’d like to adjust width of your neck warmer, chain any number stitches. To increase the length, continue the row repeat before seaming the ends together. Please note that adjusting the width or length will change the amount of yardage required
– A tutorial for the extended single crochet stitch is included below

– Yarn needle (I like the Chibi Jumbo needle set)

If you prefer to use a yarn needle to seam, cut the yarn leaving a long tail and join the ends from top to bottom using a whip stitch or other method of your choosing. If you prefer to use a SC or SS to join, continue with your hook to seam, fastening off and weaving in the the yarn tail at the end.
