Crochet Flower Applique – Free Pattern

35Shares

I love a quick and easy crochet pattern, don’t you? These sweet little flowers take 15 minutes to make and use such a small amount of yarn. Originally published for free in my Ravelry shop back in 2019, I have finally had an opportunity to spruce up the pattern and take some new photos! These motifs are great little accents to add to other projects. Bags, blankets, hats…you could even use them for a spring or summer themed bunting. How cute!

Round 1:
CH 2 and place 9 DC into the circle. SS into the second CH of your beginning CH 2 and fasten off.

(10 DC stitches)

Round 2:
With yarn colour B, insert your hook in between any two DC stitches and attach your yarn with 1 SS. *CH 3 and SK the next 2 DC. Complete 1 SC into the next space between DC stitches.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times. CH 3 and SS into the top of the beginning SS. Do not fasten off.

(5 SC, 5 CH 4 spaces)
