In this pattern you will find: special stitch tutorials (lemon peel stitch, 3rd loop HDC and picot stitch). The instructions are written simply and at the bottom of the pattern are clear step by step photos. It’s in a neatly formatted .pdf file making it printer friendly! It’s also been through pattern testing so that you can feel confident in your purchase. Scroll down the page to see the beautiful versions my testers made!

This cute plant cozy can be made with worsted weight yarn, in your choice of cotton or acrylic. For my version, I used Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn. You’ll need approximately 68 yards which is a great amount if you’re looking to use up some stash yarn! When it’s completed, this plant cozy will fit a pot that is approximately 4-5 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall.

The pattern name comes from the lemon peel stitch which is used within the pattern. Although usually worked in rows, it looks wonderful made up in rounds! The 3rd loop HDC section creates a simple and lovely accent to the cozy. The colour combinations are endless so this is pattern that you can definitely have fun with and customize to your preference. My testers did such an amazing job with their versions:
