The Bobble Pop Plant Cozy is an eye catching and colourful pattern that uses less than 1 braid of Caron x Pantone yarn. It’s a great idea for those single braids of Caron x Pantone that you might have but aren’t sure what to use them for. This plant cozy is so much fun to make…just ask my testers! To celebrate the first day of spring 2021, I’m happy to share this fun and vibrant crochet design with you!

Notes:
– This pattern is written in US terms.
– This plant cozy will fit a pot that is approximately 4-5 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall.
– Gauge is not terribly important with this pattern. However, if you would like to see if your tension is similar to mine, the circular base of my cozy after round 3 is 4 inches in diameter.
– Beginning chain of each round does not count as a stitch.
– Special stitch tutorials are included below.
– Colours will be changed throughout the pattern and will be referred to as A, B, C, D, E.
– When changing colours, please use your preferred method ensuring the stitch count remains the same.
– In order for the bobbles to be displayed properly on the outside, you must turn your work before beginning each bobble row (4, 7, 10, 13). Please see the included photos for guidance.
– The herringbone HDC stitches naturally slants upwards to the left in this pattern. Use this visual when working in the opposite direction of the bobble rows. After turning the bobble rows, you should begin to see the HBHDC stitches slanting up in the appropriate direction.
– If you have not used Caron x Pantone yarn before and need some guidance on how to prepare it for use, please visit my tutorial: Click here
