We are heading into March soon and for a lot of people, the chilly winter air and snowy grey days are still hanging around. Why not add some colour and creative designs into your home décor to brighten things up and bring some (hopefully) early spring vibes.

It’s here because it’s simple, fabulous and can definitely be added to your home during any time of the year. Change up the colour for a vibrant pop and some joyful accents during the spring and summer months. How cute would this look hanging in a window or draping around the room for a party? Perhaps you could make your own and hang it around the backyard fence for a summer get together or bbq! There are endless possibilities for this beautiful garland. Heart Jar Cozy – Hooked On Patterns

Spruce up your home office or living room with this fun and pretty project. The filet style pattern is designed in a way that allows for flexibility with the yarn and hook sizes to truly customize it to the size you need. If you’re like me and have a wooden coffee table or side tables, coasters are always sitting around and are being used. They’re practical yes, but they can also provide nice bit of colour and décor. These coasters are particularly lovely because they have such a nice textured design which makes them really stand out. Designed as a way to use up leftover and scrap yarn, each coaster is made with approximately 24 yards of yarn.  This pattern is very easy to follow, has some beautiful photos and also includes tutorials on the special stitches that are used.  Use these coasters in your house or make them in some bright colours to enjoy on the deck with your friends at your next gathering.
