These little Easter egg baskets are so cute and quick to make. They’re perfect for stashing a 2-3 small chocolate eggs or other similar sized treats. If you’re hosting a spring or Easter get-together, these baskets would make adorable accents for the table or even as a little gift for guests.

(10 HDC stitches)
Round 2:
CH 1 (does not count as a stitch) and place 2 HDC into each stitch around. SS into the first HDC.

CH 1 (does not count as a stitch) and place 1 BLHDC into each stitch around. SS into the first HDC.
(20 HDC stitches)

Round 5:
Repeat round 4. Do not fasten off.
Basket Handle:
CH 18. SS into the HDC stitch directly across (about the halfway point of the basket (photo A).

CH 1 and turn. SS into each CH across. SS into the same HDC where the CH began. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
