Crochet Neck Warmer (On The Double Pattern)

Crochet neck warmer projects are great to work on because they can often be made with just one skein! That means a quick and portable project which we all love once in awhile. Today I’m sharing the details of my new design, the On The Double Neck Warmer.

What’s Inside The Pattern?

Inside this pattern you will find special stitch tutorials (front and back post double crochet and working into the 3rd loop of a half double crochet stitch). The instructions are written clearly and comes as a neatly formatted, printer friendly .pdf file. This beauty has been sent off to testers so you can feel confident in your purchase. Scroll down to see their versions of the On The Double Neck Warmer.

This beautiful crochet neck warmer is made using Red Heart Roll With It Mélange and a 5mm hook (I used my Furls Streamline Ebony). Named for the use of double crochet stitches, this neck warmer would be a great introduction to beginners who are looking to try their hand at front and back post stitches. With a simple row repeat, it’s an easy project to crochet while catching up on your favourite shows or getting a few rows in with a cup of tea.

Using approximately 239 yards, this project uses less than one full yarn cake of Roll With It Mélange. The colours in this yarn work up in such a stunning way (I used the Paparazzi colourway) and the front/back post stitches create a simple and eye catching texture and design.

This neck warmer can be easily adjusted in length if you prefer a longer style. Simply extend the row repeat until you reach your desired length. Please keep in mind that increasing the length will alter the yardage required.

My fantastic testers told me they enjoyed working on this pattern and found the repeat to be enjoyable and relaxing. You can check out the beautiful versions that they made below:

Aren’t they pretty? Such great makes for market prep, gift giving or keeping yourself cozy on chilly days. I hope you enjoy this pattern!
