Crochet wrap patterns are a nice medium sized project. Not too small but not as large as a blanket so they seem to work up a little faster. If you’re a beginner looking to expand out in some fun ways with the basic stitches, this pattern would be great for you! Simple striped rows combined with a fun V-Stitch middle creates a colourful and cozy wrap for you enjoy.

About This Pattern:

This fun, colourful wrap combines simple stitches to create an eye catching project. Solid stripes add a pop of colour to the ends with a lovely V-Stitch accent in the middle. It’s airy but cozy, perfect for keeping the breeze off on the beach or cuddling up with on the sofa catching up on your favourite shows. You can make this wrap using worsted weight yarn however if you would like a bit of extra drape, you could definitely crochet it using DK weight yarn. Keep in mind that this could alter the finished size and the amount of yarn needed. If you choose it make it using DK yarn, don’t forget to adjust your hook size to compliment the yarn. And definitely don’t forget to share a picture with me on Instagram (@sweet_bee_crochet) because I would LOVE to see!

Materials Needed:

Normally, you will find particular yardage amounts for my designs however for this project, I chose to simply note how many skeins you will need.

This design is made using Brava worsted yarn, generously provided by WeCrochet in 4 colours. The colourways in the photo are as follows:

  • 4 skeins of “White” (colour A)
  • 1 skein of “Blush” (colour B)
  • 1 skein of “Cotton Candy” (colour C)
  • 1 skein of “Seashell” (colour D”)

At the time of writing this pattern, one skein of Brava worsted is 218 yards and 100 grams. Brava worsted yarn is a wonderfully vibrant and soft acyrlic yarn from WeCrochet. If you haven’t ordered from this company before, you can read about my experience here: Ordering From WeCrochet – Is It Worth It?
