Let’s take a quick moment to appreciate the gorgeous brown and yellow in this crochet scarf. I’m a huge fan of these shades together and when the yarn is tweed, be still my heart! This scarf has beautiful rustic vibes and is made using two simple stitches which keeps the project fun, fast and beginner friendly.
Crochet hexagons are one of my favourite motifs to make. They’re quick, beginner friendly and I love how much you can customize them. Not only that, but they also leave a ton of room for creativity within different types of projects.
This free crochet pattern utilizes 3 different tutorials that can be found on my blog. I have combined them to create a simple project that can be made using your favourite colours of worsted weight yarn. I have included direct links to those tutorials within the pattern so that you can learn more about them at an in-depth level if you’d like.

Crochet wrap patterns are a nice medium sized project. Not too small but not as large as a blanket so they seem to work up a little faster. If you’re a beginner looking to expand out in some fun ways with the basic stitches, this pattern would be great for you! Simple striped rows combined with a fun V-Stitch middle creates a colourful and cozy wrap for you enjoy.
I’m so happy to share my new free crochet pattern with you today. This motif is called the Between the Stitch Square and works up in about 30-40 minutes. It would look lovely on it’s own as a mounted home decor piece. You could also make some out of cotton yarn for a beautiful coaster set or, crochet a whole bunch to make a blanket. There are endless possibilities with motifs and I hope you’ll feel inspired to make your own.
Originally written and made using bulky weight yarn, as of March 22, 2023 this pattern has received a refreshing update made with worsted weight.
