Pattern:
CH 12 and begin row 1 in the second CH from your hook.
Row 1:
Into the first stitch and each stitch across, place 1 SC. CH 1 and turn.
(11 SC stitches)
Rows 2-29:
Into the first stitch, place 1 SC and 1 DC. SK the next stitch. *Place 1 SC and 1 DC, SK the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times. Place 1 SC into the last stitch. CH 1 and turn.
(6 SC, 5 DC = 11 stitches)
Row 30:
Into the first 5 stitches, place 1 SC. CH 11, SK 1 and place 1 SC into the last 5 stitches (PHOTO A). Fasten off, weave in all ends.
(10 SC, 11 CH stitches)

Assembly:
Fold your piece in half so that the chain loop is at the back on the right side of the project (left is the fold). Working into both front and back panels, join yarn with a SS, CH 1 into the top right. Place 1 SC evenly around all edges, placing 2 SC into the bottom fold corners to create a curve to the next side. End at the bottom right corner (PHOTO B). Fasten off, weave in all ends. Sew the button onto the front so that the chain loop fasten securely around it.
