Notes:
– This pattern is written in US terms (find a stitch conversion chart here)
– Gauge is not important for this pattern
– Turning CH does not count as a stitch
– This pattern used two colours, referred to as “Colour A” and “Colour B”
– Special stitch tutorial is included within the pattern
– This pattern is for a small sized bracelet (approx. 6 ½ inches long). It can be customized to your wrist size by continuing the rows of HBHDC. When you reach the length preferred, please complete the pattern with rows 28-29

Materials Needed:
–  Approximately 5-6 yards of DK weight yarn per bracelet
– 3.5mm hook
– Two 8mm buttons with appropriate needle and thread for sewing (for fastening bracelet and centre of flower)
– Yarn needle
– Scissors

Stitches:
BEG/CH – Beginning Chain
SK – Skip next stitch
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HBHDC – Herringbone Half Double Crochet

Special Stitch Tutorial:
Herringbone Half Double Crochet (HBHDC) – Yarn over and insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Pull the top loop on your hook down through the middle loop on your hook (2 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through remaining loops on hook. Detailed Tutorial: Click here

Pattern:
(Yarn Colour A)
Begin by chaining 4. Start row 1 in the second CH from your hook.

Row 1-2:
Into each stitch across, place 1 SC. CH 1 and turn.
(3 SC)

Round 3-27:
Into each stitch across, place 1 HBHDC. CH 1 and turn.
(3 HBHDC)

**Continue the HBHDC rows if you want to want to make your bracelet longer. When appropriate length is reached, finish off by completing rows 28-29**

Row 28:
Into each stitch across, place 1 SC. CH 1 and turn.
(3 SC)

Row 29:
Place 1 SC into the first stitch. CH 2 and SK the next stitch. 1 SC in the last stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.
(2 SC stitches, 1 CH 2 space)

Attaching The Button:
With your needle and thread, sew your button between rows 1 and 2 in the centre. Secure thread and fasten off. Your button should fit snug and secure through the CH 2 space from row 29 once placed around your wrist.

(Yarn Colour B)
Begin with a magic circle. SS into your circle and CH 1 (does not count as a stitch)

Round 1:
*Place 1 SC into your circle followed by CH 4*Repeat from * to * four more times.

SS into the top of the beginning SC. Fasten off and leave long ends for sewing onto your bracelet. Don’t forget to tighten up your centre loop! Sew a button or bead into the centre for a decorative finish. Attach one or more to your bracelet for some colourful and vibrant accents.
